Terms of Service

Dolil AI is a self-service legal document generator that uses artificial intelligence to produce drafts of common Bangladesh legal documents (rental agreements, employment letters, power of attorney, legal notices, etc.) based on inputs you provide. The Platform also offers a marketplace for booking online video consultations with independent Bangladeshi advocates.

Dolil AI is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. The documents generated are templates and drafts — they are starting points, not finished legal work. For binding legal advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified Bangladeshi advocate. The lawyers listed on the Platform are independent professionals; they are not employees of Dolil AI.

To use the Platform you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Bangladeshi law.
• Not be barred from using the Platform under any applicable law.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when you sign up.

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Keep your password confidential. Notify us immediately at support@dolilai.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You may not share your account with another person or transfer it.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law.
• You can close your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data on closure.

• You own the content of any document you generate. We grant you a perpetual, worldwide right to use, modify, print, and distribute it for any lawful purpose.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you put into a document and for verifying that the final document meets the legal requirements of your specific situation.
• Documents generated may need additional steps to become legally enforceable — for example, signing on stamp paper of appropriate denomination, witness signatures, registration at the sub-registry office (for property transactions over 1 year), or notarization. The Platform provides general guidance but does not perform these steps for you.
• We may use anonymized statistics about document generation (counts, categories) to improve our service.

• Lawyers listed on the Platform are independent professionals enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council. We verify their credentials at onboarding.
• The lawyer-client relationship is between you and the lawyer you book — not with Dolil AI. We are a marketplace and technology facilitator.
• Consultations are conducted via video conferencing (Jitsi). We do not record sessions.
• Fees are set by each lawyer. The platform fee, if any, is disclosed transparently at checkout.
• The lawyer may reject or cancel a booking if a conflict of interest exists or if the matter is outside their practice area. In such cases, you receive a full refund within 7 working days.
• Refunds for completed consultations are governed by the lawyer's individual refund policy. Disputes can be raised with us within 7 days of the consultation.

• Free plan: includes a monthly document generation quota (currently 3 documents per month). Quota resets on the same date each month.
• Paid plans (Basic, Pro, Business): include higher or unlimited quotas, premium templates, priority support. Pricing displayed on /upgrade.
• Payments are processed by bKash and Nagad. By paying you agree to their respective terms.
• Subscriptions are monthly. They do not auto-renew — you must manually renew when the period ends.
• Refund policy: If a paid plan is found to be defective (you cannot use the features advertised) within 7 days of payment, you may request a full refund. Refunds for technical issues will be processed within 14 working days. Plan upgrades are non-refundable after 7 days of use.
• We may change pricing with at least 14 days notice via email to existing subscribers.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Generate documents intended to facilitate fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, or any other illegal activity.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content from the Platform without our written permission.
• Resell or sub-license the Platform without a commercial agreement with us.
• Upload malware, viruses, or otherwise interfere with the Platform's operation.
• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers) to generate documents beyond what a human user could do.
• Violate any applicable Bangladeshi or international law.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

• The Platform itself, including all templates, code, design, branding, and content, is owned by Dolil AI and protected by Bangladesh and international copyright, trademark, and patent law.
• Our templates are licensed to you only through use of the Platform. You may not extract our templates and offer them as a competing service.
• You retain ownership of the documents you generate (see Section 4).
• You retain ownership of any user-generated content you submit (reviews, feedback) but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for promotional and operational purposes.
• If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to support@dolilai.com with sufficient evidence.

Important: Documents generated by Dolil AI are templates produced by artificial intelligence. They are not a substitute for legal advice from a qualified Bangladeshi advocate. We do not guarantee that any specific document will be enforceable in your situation, accepted by any specific institution, or fit for your particular purpose.

• The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
• We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of legal information provided.
• Use of generated documents is at your own risk. For high-value or complex matters always consult a lawyer.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Bangladeshi law:

• Dolil AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Dolil AI is not liable for any loss arising from a document you generated being held unenforceable, rejected, or otherwise unsuitable.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform is limited to the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) BDT 5,000.
• These limits do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as for gross negligence or willful misconduct).

• You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, applicable law, or pose a risk to the Platform or other users.
• We may also discontinue the Platform or any part of it at any time, with at least 30 days notice for material changes affecting paid plans.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination — Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Liability, Governing Law — will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to registered users and a prominent banner on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
• Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between you and us for 30 days.
• If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
• Nothing in these Terms prevents you from pursuing remedies available under consumer protection laws.
